Company names that you recognize but...

There are certain company names that when you see them, you automatically know what type of product they are known for. Take Price Pfister as an example, I'd bet most of you would automatically think faucets. "Igloo" and I think coolers, "Timex" and I think watches, "Intel" and I think computers..."HP" and I think...OMG their tech support is horrible. What's intersting is beyond the "HP" issues I'm having right now is that companies spend millions of dollars to develop name recongition and it does work...

Oh No!

I just ordered a new H-P laptop (this one died and recently underwent life restoring surgery) and an H-P network printer too. . .

I'm still hanging onto the old questionable IBM though ;-)
