Taking advantage of text mobile marketing...

As a part of my blogging that I do locally I do pay attention to the bar/club scene in my area and I've watched many of them try to increase their business by using the internet, especially on MySpace. There are other ways to take advantage of technology and one that is new is the concept of SMS Text Mobile Marketing. Sendaword.com realizes how cell phones and text messaging has become such an integral part of today's society and through using their SMS Text Mobile Coupon Marketing they are making inroads in what is considered by many to be a very creative way to reach out to potential new customers or to let previous customers know about something new and hot that's happening.

Use of this type of marketing can also create opportunities to promote the ability to Text-To Win a Contest or Voting, another great way to get the attention of a customer base. From a cost standpoint this can be a very cost effective way to advertise especially for clubs and bars when compared to traditional advertising costs.

Looks like it might be good for a business. Text mesaaging is the big thing now and takes no minutes from a cell.

I had never heard of that before, it does sound like it could be good for business. But on the other hand I don't think I would like to recieve too many of those text ads.

I wouldn't be crazy about getting them unsolicited either, but let's say the local bar has a myspace page and/or they have a way to email or submit your cell to receive text messages it would be the best of both worlds.
