From The Liberal Wish List lists many things some of the groups focusing on gay, women's rights and the pro-abortion/pregnancy prevention would like to see now that Democrats are in office.
I have a few:
Get Iraq ready for our troops to leave
Work on reducing the federal budget without cutting necessary social programs
Either fully fund NCLB or leave us alone
I'd be happy if those three were accomplished.

And, as for the second one, MANY social programs are unnecessary, IMO.
