90 Square meters sounds small until....

Some of the Israeli settlers are moving into their new homes as part of the disengagement. In Haaretz and other papers, some settlers have commented/complained about the size of the new homes, provided without cost to the settlers as their permanent homes are being built.

Ninety square meters to us sounds small since most of us don't use the metric system, but it is the US equivalent of a little over 968 square feet. Now what kind of a home can you get for that square footage?

There are no available floor plans as to the exact homes the settlers will be moving into, however, here is a floorplan for a modular home that is at 960 square feet. It will give you an idea of what type of "horrid" conditions the settlers will be forced to live in until their homes are built.

Just got back from camping and visiting my wife's cousin and hubby, who live in a modular home. They do not have a basement, but if I didn't have kids, I would love to live in it. It was roomy and is better laid out than my house.

As for the rest of the settlers and their issues. From the famous words from Stan from South Park, "Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care. Dont' care."

Fine, then when we demand to be disengaged from here and get a couple of hundred thousand dollars and a new house? You'll change your mind.
