Voila...the new look for Liberal Common Sense

As you can see things look a little different here now, I wanted to try to create my own template for this ol' blog. I was inspired by the way me4president had changed his blog but also wanted something different than the usual templates that blogger has.

It should work in firefox as well as IE, I downloaded firefox, good thing too, because it looked perfect in IE but was far from perfect in firefox.

I still have some minor adjustments to make, but hope you all enjoy the new look.

Congratulations Lisa!

Thanks HT, it was quite the adventure, one part of this code I liked here, one part of this code I liked there, then trying to make them all cooperate.

After I was all done and was so happy with it in IE, double checked in Firefox and man was that a mess. So I had to figure out what firefox didn't like that IE did.

The blog looks the same in IE and Firefox. But I was so used to the old look. I just can't deal with change very well. Ok, the flag looks cool. Plus, I was getting used to reading in the middle. Now I have to refocus and train my brain to read from the far left of the screen. heh heh. Get it? Far left. It really should have been to the slightly left not the far left. hahahahahahahaha. Ahh, forget it.

Ok, I got use to the new look. It looks nice.

I'm sorry C, I should have made some gradual transition type changes for you. Next time I'll be more considerate.

To be fair, Lisa was responsible for most of the improvements to my blog also. My style of improving something is the same on my blog as it is at home, knock something down and try to rebuild it. And much like at home, I usually just end up cvering it up with some quick fix.

Love the changes.

When I saw the pictures you added me4 it inspired me to change mine because they look awesome. As far as helping you? I didn't do that much and it was fun.
