Chocolate covered cherry is

really purplish red....

I'm vain when it comes to my hair, I admit it. I know I don't look soon to be 46 yet I have alot of gray hair. Yes it is the pretty silvery type gray hair but I don't want to see it.

However tonight after spending alot of time debating which color of dye I would use to help make the gray go away...I decided on "Chocolate Covered Cherry" because I do have some natural red/gold highlights. Well it's purple...not barney purple but has a purple tint to it.

As Lisa hummms I'm gonna wash that gray right out of my hair...EEEK PURPLE!

:-)

I think grey looks pretty good, but the ladies at work like to go with red when they cover up.

Oy, but there are nutty people loose around here. The News Writer sticks with the gray, in an attempt to look more like the tabby cats in her life. She is annoyed that she can't get the gray to come in in the same patterns.

But thanks for the FSM card. hehehehheehhe. Got a big kick out of it.

I thought you'd like it newswriter.

If I could get mine into patterns now that would be different.

Steve yes, someday I will just give up and go gray...

I embrace my grey hairs as badges of honor. They are earned, as any parent knows.

I know what you mean about being photographed, Lisa. I had to take down my blog photo and put up a silhouetted pic after neo-Nazi idiots started lifting it and photo-shopping me (sticking my head in porno pics, adding Stars of David, stupid BS).

Plus, I either come out looking like Charles Manson or a simpleton.

Nice pic, though, of you.

sigh...Mike...I didn't think of that I guess I should take mine down too.

Especially given the earlier comments that I had to delete.

People should just grow the f up...

Lisa,

Given a choice between grey and silver, silver would win hands down.

I played the "color me younger game" 10 or so years ago (Clairol 108), but I looked in the mirror one morning and broke out laughing, thinking "Just what in the hell do you think that you are doing, and who are you fooling?"

I'm almost all grey now and long for the silver my uncle Ray had naturally...

I know I should be happy with the silver, it would have been better than the purple...lol

Thankfully it's only semi-permanent...

My hair is pretty dark brown with some natural red/gold highlights so the silver really shows up. (As well as this purplish red right now - lol)

My 11 year old came home last night from her father's for the weekend. Looked at me and said "People in this house are crazy".

Maybe. I thought about the chocolate covered cherry for my winter color, but it kind of scared me. I am very picky about my hair and how it looks. Especially since it might not be around much longer and I need to enjoy every minute we have together
