Is it really tampering if you don't want him?

In the latest saga involving TO, the Eagles have filed a tampering complaint with the NFL against Jerry Jones.

"In general, I am a risk-taker. We've gone down that road," Jones said when asked if the Cowboys might be interested in Owens. "I probably have a propensity to try and make things work. ... A top receiver could flourish with Drew Bledsoe. That's always appealing."'

Sheesh Eagles, you don't want him anyway and it's technically the fault of the radio dj for asking. Yes, Jerry Jones should have said "no comment" or whatever, and I'm not a fan of the Cowboys at all. (and I mean not at all)

However....Hasn't TO spent enough time in the spotlight? ESPN has been speculating which team would take TO, so it's not like this is some type of a sshhhh topic. It may be against the rules technically but it's not like Jones has been talking to either TO or his agent. As soon as the Eagles "set TO free" you know someone is going to eventually pick him up.

Yes, TO has spent FAR too much time in the spotlight. *yawn* And while I think it would be absolutely hysterical if no one picked him up... I'm not that naive.

In other football news, looks like the Lions have dumped Steve Mariucci as coach...

And are you watching the game tonight, Lisa? Undefeated Indianapolis vs. Pittsburgh... I can't wait!

Yeppers! I will be watching. I have mixed emotions on this game. I want Indy to lose thereby keeping Miami's perfect season record unbroken but? I hate the Steelers...So I picked the Colts for tonight in the pool I'm in and we'll see what happens. Last night's game with the Jets and Seattle was pretty good with the give and take. (Though a certain friend of mine who is a Jets fan wasn't happy..I picked Seattle to win)

I want Marvin Harrison to score 10 touchdowns and the Indy defense to score a bunch also. I don't care who wins, but my fantasy team needs help tonight.

I want TO sent to NFL Europe. Unless his teammates have a blanket party for him, he will never get that football is a team sport.

Let Dallas have TO. Parcells with get his ass in line. Big Bill didn't take any shit from Johnson in NY and not in Dallas. Bill will tell TO that as head coach he will will bench TO in the preseason should TO fart the wrong way.

Other than that, TO can chill and get an agent that won't screw with his career.

And for anyone interested, I am the Jet fan who wasn't happy last night that knows Lisa. The best thing that the Jets can do now is lose out and pray that Houston get two wins so that the Jets can get the number one draft pick for '06. But if the Texans can lose a 24 point lead, The Jets are doomed for next season as well. I will now leave you goood people and cry for yet another week. But it will be a manly cry.

TO is the epitomy of what is wrong with team sports...Antagonizing people in the team does not help. Look at the Red Sox (yeah, I live in Red Sox Nation and caught the fan disease about two years ago), they won last year, but this year a bunch of them spent too much time complaining about one another and every one saw what happened.
As for TO, I really hope Dallas is not really interested for yes, I'm also a Dallas fan (not a big one though). How about sending him to Houston, or even better, to the World League. They may like him a lot, say, in Berlin...

Maybe TO will grow up this time.

(historymike is an eternal optimist).

Looking for Manning to light it up so I can not only win but pile on points in the tie-breakers.

My team is 9-4 now, and we play a fantasy doubleheader, so I am 11-4 going into the last week before fantasy playoffs (solid second, one game out of first).

I'm in first place in fantasy football but took a downturn in the football pool, this week and last week were good (keeping fingers crossed)

I don't have anything against Dallas Fans, catdaddy but I just have this anti-dallas thing. Also stems from when Jimmy came to the Dolphins (shudder)

I feel bad for Steve Marriuchi, but I think he should have never ever ever brought Garcia there. And he has made some bad decisions though I don't think all of the reasons for the Lions losing is his fault. But? That's who pays the price almost always is the Coach.

BAM!

First Indy play - an 80-yard bomb to Marvin Harrison.

Good way to start the game.

I'm beginning to get worried, Yes I want Indy to win tonight but it's looking like my perfect season bragging rights may be going bye bye if Indy keeps playing like this...

Sorry Lisa, but I know that this one doesn't matter to me at all.

But, I read anyway; your blog is usually quite thought provoking ;-)
