Bikini days turn to tankini days...
While I'm proud of all of the weight I've lost, being a grown woman of 48 years old has made me decide while I'm not quite ready for the one piece swimsuit I'm also no longer a bikini type of girl. Not that it would really matter since the extent of my swimwear moments are typically in our backyard but I did buy a new suit while I was out West so that my oldest daughter and I could spend some time in the jacuzzi one night we were at one of the hotels. So I opted for a tankini, it makes me not feel totally "old" and some of them are pretty flattering.

Going elliptical?
There was a point in time when we had quite a bit of fitness equipment in our home, now it's not so much a matter of not wanting to work out but a space factor that becomes more of an issue. While we don't have the room for the huge weight station, there are quite a few elliptical machines coming to the market or in the market that take up less space and do provide a good workout.

Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting...
Not only is it a catchy tune, but many people turn to the Martial Arts to keep fit in addition to the protection aspect. My son took Akido lessons for years and there was a time when I took kickboxing classes, which I enjoyed and it really did keep me fit. Unfortunately it became difficult for me to get to and from classes, and at that time martial arts equipment supplies were hard to find and fairly expensive.
That's not true today though, which makes me think it's time to perhaps get back into it since it was not only a great way to stay fit but a fantastic stress reliever. Places like Pad Up carry a huge selection of items from belt racks to display how far you've come to punching bags to even pink boxing gloves. This gives you a way set up your own personal work out space and to be able to work out at home at your own convenience.
