Attack on Mormons or truth in advertising?

While the votes may be counted in California's proposition 8 and the court challenges still remain, one of the things still being discussed is an ad that was ran late in the campaign. Some believe it was reasonable given the amount of money spent by those who identified themselves as Mormons and others believe it was an ugly attack. I found the ad on YouTube and have posted it here so you can decide for yourself:

Works for me. Of course, I'm all for lifting the LDS Church's tax-exempt status, and I've got about 20M reasons why.

Interesting. I hadn't seen that before. Personally, I don't have a problem with a church stating what it believes. I also don't think that there is anything wrong with these groups pointing out the influence of the religious group, if it indeed was a factor. That is why we vote after all.

Let's face it, this all happened in California. It isn't the bastion of conservatism. Lots of democrats voted for it.
