The Media Release battle begins!

I'm signed up for a great wire service that sends me all of the Media Releases that relate to campaigns, congress and other important national issues, PR Newswire. There's been a noticeable increase in the amount of releases sent out by the Democratic Party and the Republican Party on McCain and Obama. Currently the RNC is leading in the number sent out, here's a taste of what has been said today:

One - As Democrats are joining together to reduce the influence of lobbyists on our political process, the Democratic National Committee today issued a new web ad highlighting Senator McCain's hypocrisy on lobbying reform and transparency. The new video, entitled "McCain's Lobbyist Friends," outlines the degree to which Senator McCain's inner circle has been dominated by the sort of Washington lobbyists he once railed against and the disturbing array of foreign clients they have represented --including companies doing business in Iran, the oppressive regime in Myanmar, and some of history's most brutal tyrants.

Two - Democratic National Committee - McCain Myth Buster: John McCain and Transparency in Governance

Today's McCain Myth: John McCain would run a transparent government as president.

John McCain says he is setting a "new standard for transparency and accountability" in politics. But a look at his new position on wiretapping, which is similar to the Bush Administration's, makes it clear McCain would not make transparency a priority in his administration. In a letter this week, one of McCain's top advisors wrote that Senator McCain thinks "President Bush's program of wiretapping without warrants was lawful," a position legal specialists said "contrasted with statements Mr. McCain previously made about the limits of presidential power." One - Obama's Shifting Foreign Policy Shows That The Only Real Change He's Promising Is In His Own Positions

FLIP-FLOP #1: In His Remarks To The Annual AIPAC Policy Conference, Obama Said That Jerusalem Should Be The Undivided Capital Of Israel, But Later Said The City's Future Should Be Negotiated By Israel And The Palestinians:

FLIP-FLOP #2: Obama Now Claims That He Will Only Meet With Foreign Leaders At A Time Of His Choosing If It Will Advance U.S. Interests, But Previously Said He Would Meet With Rogue Leaders His First Year In Office Without Preconditions:

FLIP-FLOP #3: Obama Has Pivoted In His Opposition To Legislation Labeling Iran's Revolutionary Guard A Terrorist Organization:

FLIP-FLOP #4: Obama Now Claims That He Opposed Palestinian Elections In 2006, But He Supported Them At That Time:
Obama Lobbyist Hypocrisy

Two - How Will The DNC's Ban On Lobbyist Cash Bring Change When There Are Major Exceptions And Registered Lobbyists In Leadership Positions?

Obama Has Pledged To Reject Money From Federal Lobbyists And PACs Repeatedly:

The Daily Bellwether has more on this story.

Three - OBAMA'S IRAQ BACKTRACK: Obama Spends Another Week Backtracking on His Iraq Positions Instead of Visiting the Country, Showing Once Again That He Lacks the Leadership to Be Commander-In-Chief

IT HAS BEEN 880 DAYS SINCE OBAMA HAS BEEN IN IRAQ
