Progesterone a quick history....

While more has been out there recently about progesterone it's actually been something that was discovered quite some time ago. In 1933 anatomy professor George Washington Corner and Willard Myron Allen who co-discovered Progesterone at the University of Rochester Medical School in 1933. Allen gave it the name Progesterone derived from Progestational Steroidal ketone.
