I'd love to believe people aren't that naive...but I know better

Obama's changed his marketing strategy, and I'd like to believe that voters won't fall for the whole "America, our moment is now" theme. Yet I know better and I know that American's want to hope, ironically it was Bill Clinton's "hope" moment that helped him. Part of the political process makes candidates almost like shady used car salesmen, they will tell us anything to get the sale. We wanting to believe we are savvy negotiators and always looking for the best deal, fall for it all too often. Then when the car drives for only a short time then falls apart...We blame the salesman when the reality is?

It's our fault...

I think he is very inspiring, but I am not sure I trust his sincerity.
