Tired of the dog and the window...

Right now I have two couches in my living room but I'm tired of the one dog using the couch as a way to look out the window then constantly bark when people walk by our house. This leads me to the belief that a recliner and a chair would be a better option than the two couches, since placement wise it would be possible to make the windows not be accessible to the dog...Or I could buy a shock collar...Or a muzzle...
