Balz asks Victim or a Party Crasher in the 'All-Boys Club'?

What's actually better in this case than reading the article that Dan Balz wrote in the Washington Post, Victim or a Party Crasher in the 'All-Boys Club'? is reading some of the comments left in response to the article.

The debate of is it because she's a woman or because she's winning is evidenced in the comments as well as now becoming the focus of the media.

Personally as a woman, I don't think it's insulting to me to point out that the guys were trying to pile on and she handled it. Did she handle it as well as she probably would have? Maybe not but I think this one comment does nail it:
It is the same dual standard that the press likes to use all the time. The Post can write articles about her cleavage and then John Edwards says he doesn't like her jacket- its kind of a joke.

If the media thinks she shouldn't have it both ways, perhaps they shouldn't make it both ways. I can't recall them ever focusing on Obama's clevage or Edward's Jacket...
