Maybe it's just me, but the idea of creating something similar to what President Bush did that was a role in the whole Tom Noe/campaign finance law violations and demonstrated the whole "pay to play" mindset of politics is not a good idea. It creates a system where you are realistically saying "Hey...the more money you have the more you matter". Which is probably a reality anyway but to me this violates the aspect of limits on campaign finance. So, you create a fake situation where family and friends help you get to the "Slugger" level of $50,000 but what you really want to be is a "Team Captain", but that's a million dollars...After you run out of friends, family, co-workers and others to hit up to help Rudy, who wouldn't want to be rewarded?
It reminds me of those cheap prizes that they hold over the heads of kids to try to encourage them to sell more junk for their school. Only $100 more dollars sold and you can get a beanie hat with a propeller! WoooHOOO!
So, to all of you presidential candidates out there? If you can't get people to donate to you without creating some type of an immature club aspect of it? Maybe you shouldn't run for office...

Well said, Lisa!
I hate those school affairs, and when applied to politics it just makes for an dangerous situation. Corruption is far too easy to fall into. Dancing on the edge of it before you even get into office is just plain foolish.
btw, all you need to sign up for 360 is a Yahoo account; it doesn't have to be specifically for 360.
Thanks! I used to have an old yahoo account but don't use it anymore. However, you are definitely worth signing up one for.
:-)
Aw, thank you, that so sweet!
(I was worried I would have been forgotten.)
No, every now and then I'd stop by your blog to see if you had posted something. Then sigh...
