Some Gore supporters not ready to give up hope...

The general impression I have after reading a Washginton Times piece that states Gore backers hold on to cash was while some have given support and money to the other top three candidates, there are still some high level Gore supporters that still have hope that Gore will make a presidential run. As stated in the article by Christina Bellantoni:
Former campaign manager Tony Coelho told Rolling Stone magazine this winter that Mr. Gore could wait it out before announcing another presidential bid, and Peter Knight, Mr. Gore's chief of staff during his congressional terms, is holding an informal reunion of the Tennessee native's longtime supporters, the New York Times reported recently.

Joel Hyatt, who joined Mr. Gore to co-found the Current TV youth news network, was a top fundraiser in 2000 but has not publicly backed any candidates.

Sen. Raymond Lesniak, one of the major fundraisers in 2000, thinks Mr. Gore is the one candidate who can restore America's standing abroad.

"A perfect storm is brewing that could sweep Al Gore back into the race," Mr. Lesniak said. "There is no one emerging from the field of Democrats. ... That sets it up beautifully for Al Gore."

Not to rain on their hopes but the official response from Gore?
Gore spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said her boss is dedicated to the climate issue and "has been very clear that he has no intention of running for president."

He has not "been very clear!"

Being clear doesn't include making sideways comments at the Oscars in front of the world.

My beleif is in the "perfect storm."

Let the current field heat up, spend money, and political capital. Let them go after one another, get all frothy and holier than though...And then announce...Late in the Fall. Steal thier momentum, the spotlight, and any hopes of unity. People will fall in line behind Gore, and the "front runners" won't know what to do about it.

I think it's perfect, and I hope my dream has a place in reality.

No...I'd never bait you, but I thought it would interest you.

Tomato Tomato....I never know how to pull that one off when typing it.

I enjoy stopping by too.

Life has been crazy hectic for me, so I have been absent way too long.

I believe that neither eventual candidate has yet to announce.

But, it's getting late, there are only 18 months left ;-)

(In case you were wondering, that is sarcasm.)
