The art of bonsai...

My son created my interest in bonsai years ago and to me it is more than just gardening, it is an art form. If you have ever taken a look at what can be done by those considered bonsai masters it's easy to see why it is art. Having worked with the Japanese Red Maple, I have to agree with the suggestions made on The Bonsai Gardener on suggested starter trees. I also recommend signing up for the free weekly email newsletter if you are interested in bonsai, it's a great way to learn even more tips and hints.
