Which is worse, releasing the phone call or making the phone call?

I was surprised when reading this morning's Washington Post that after having the previous article on the Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger spat that involved a nasty voice mail message that Alec Baldwin is said to have left on his 11 year old daughter's cell phone that the Washington Post Celebritolgy column took the next step of providing the a link to the audio of the call online. The release of the phone call (which no one can say is appropriate) is obviously designed as another page in the Kim V Alec battle and the fact that the media is wasting it's time in covering this type of thing when there are real stories out there? Makes me wonder...Yes, I wondered the same thing with the almost 24/7 coverage of the Anna Nicole Smith thing...

I think both parents are at fault.

He should be ashamed of how he talked to his kid. I mean, c'mon...I understand getting mad at your kids....but that's just unnecessary.

And she should know better than to air the family's dirty laundry to the public.

But every major news outlet jumped on it. It's really, really sad what the networks consider "news" these days.

I agree it's not good parenting to call your child the names he did, and I also agree all of the media sources have now picked up on this. I just saw it on CNN as well.

Amazing the things we focus on...

You know it's a small wonder this little girl is dodging him.

Who wants to spend time with someone who behaves like that?

Regarding the Kim vs. Alec battle; they're both certifiable, and their daughter will probably spend most of her life in therapy because of them both.

This is a marriage that was definitely not "made in heaven..."

sounds like they were all made for each other.
