Tired of pen "borrowers"...

Something that is kind of a minor irking moment to me is the huge numbers of pens that we go thru during the course of a school year, the majority of them ending up being "borrowed" then never returned by other classmates of my daughter. It made me think that ordering special pens with her name on them would make it pretty darn easy to locate some of these "borrowers" or...make her name even more popular at school.

Quite a few years ago, I lent a very good pen (it was a "Cross" gold pen that I had received as a present and was part of a set) that had my name engraved on it to a TPS Board member while attending a school board conference. She failed to return the pen. When I asked about it, she stated I had never lent her a pen. Yea. Right! Like I would make it up!

Tell me who it is Roland and I'll hunt them down until they return the pen!

You should always have your name on your pens, preceded by the words "Stolen From..."

Of course, these days, that isn't the
deterrent that it used to be.
