Photo Hunt - Red...

A few years ago I went to California to visit a friend. He took me to see Manzanar which was one location where Japanense Americans were taken and held during World War II. The photos I took there will always stay with me as will this part of the wording that was written on the marker on the way in:

May the injustices and humiliation suffered here as a result of hysteria, racism and economic explotation never emerge again...

The medal with the red and white ribbon placed on this grave of one who died during the time they were being held in this prison camp was for a school award. Other offerings by people, were left around the larger marker in the front of the cemetery but this one particular one had a great deal of impact on me and still does today. Red is the color of blood of martyrs in the Catholic religion...
