This was one of the headline stories over at CNN so I headed over to the initial source to find out more. Yes, I prefer to read the stories rather than to watch video clips...
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- A Portsmouth Regional Hospital nurse was arrested on four charges related to allegations that she used her position to wrongfully have a man she had a relationship with involuntarily admitted for an emergency psychiatric evaluation.
Julia Lynch, 30, of Rollinsford, N.H., was arrested Wednesday at a shop where she works part time, said Portsmouth Police Capt. Janet Champlin. Lynch was charged with misdemeanor counts of false swearing; attempted false imprisonment; stalking and tampering with a public or private record.
Champlin said the crimes were committed last month, when Lynch filed a false report alleging the man was in need of an emergency and involuntary psychiatric evaluation.
As a result, the man, with whom Lynch had a previous relationship, was picked up by police while he was working and brought to the hospital to be evaluated, Champlin said.
During the evaluation, medical professionals determined he was not a threat to himself or others and he was released, Champlin said.
I've heard the expression of being "crazy in love" but this one I have feeling means either she has some issues of her own and/or any other guy in town might want to think twice before making her mad.
