Now this is my kind of trivia!

Sure it was fun playing with the "Dark Movies" game, but thanks to Payperpost I came across a site that is very enjoyable, Aviva Trivia Blog. Not only is the trivia not your ordinary trivia like "Which Ohio city was represented by Mayor Carty Finkbeiner, who once suggested deaf residents move out to the airport?", but I could see the possibility of many future blog posts as well as entertaining people with some of the facts that I discovered there. As an example, this bit of information on a trivia post about Burial Customs and Curiosities:

Nature also preserved for modern study, the Siberian Ice Maiden, discovered in the Pastures of Heaven on the High Steppes. Covered in vivid blue tattoos and frozen by extraordinary climatic conditions, the Maiden, six decorated horses, and a last ceremonial meal seem to indicate that women not only got a dinner, but respect, in nomadic societies of 2400 years ago.

I vaguely remember reading about this before, so ventured off to search for even more detail on the Siberian Ice Maiden.. That was just one tiny part of the information there that made me think, made me wonder and made me want to find out more.

I may need to brush up on my trivia, even though MANY regard me as the most trivial person that they know ;-)
