It just doesn't feel like Halloween

Aubrey decided she did want to go to camp and they picked the week of Halloween as their time to go so it doesn't feel like Halloween here. No children getting ready to trick or treat - we didn't do pumpkins because she wasn't going to be here so it seemed kind of pointless. I just couldn't get into the "spirit" of what is normally one of my favorite holidays. I didn't even feel up to wearing my pants that are decorated with bats and haunted houses...

Maybe I'll decorate pumpkins for Thanksgiving...

Sorry. You should wear your pants anyway, watch scary movies, and play those Halloween sound CDs all day. And make Miguel perform tricks or tell jokes for candy, or beer.

I haven't done anything for Halloween since I was 7 or 8, but I still buy myself some big bags of candy and occasionally Sherry gets me some Peeps

That's why I love you so much as a friend - the idea of Miguel performing tricks made me laugh harder than I have in a while.

Halloween Peeps are good...

I do not discriminate as all Peeps are good.

That's what friends are for. Glad I could help.

True I have not met a peep I did not like, even the Bats are good. (Though they do turn your tongue black if you eat too many.)
