Cruise-Holmes breakup report 'false'
Magazine claims two are going to part
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Not true.
That was Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' response Tuesday to a Valentine's Day report by Life & Style magazine claiming that the Hollywood superstar and his pregnant paramour have split up.
Yes, they referred to her as his "paramour"
A lover, especially one in an adulterous relationship.
Yahoo is using the same Associated Press piece.
:-)
This is not a Brrreeeport report....though it might be next time....
I have to say this brrreeeport isn't working out very well so far. I feel brrreeeport neglected....how fun is it to play brrreeeport if it doesn't work?
Technorati..yes. Google or Yahoo? Nope...

Since you so obviously dislike Katie Holmes...why do you take such an interest in her?
I wouldn't say I dislike her, I think some of the early on holding her up to be a role model was a mistake, but I guess you'd have to live here to see a lot of the attention to "Toledo's own Katie Holmes" though it has cut down a bit now that she is with Tom Cruise. So it's more of a joke topic for some of us that live here.
Actually this time I think AP was being unfair because while she is unmarried and pregnant it's not an adulterous relationship so I think calling her a paramour was a bit harsh.
I'll give you an example, like right now two of our local news stations have this as "top" news, one has scrolling across the website as a part of their "breaking news" line
"TomKat say They are Not Breaking Up"
:-)
:-)
Yeah, I guess I can see that. In the past, however, you've made disparaging comments about her.
I've not seen anything recent. I rarely go to the theaters and lost a lot of interest as the hype went up, but I think she's a talented actress. Much better as the good girl than the baddie.
Yes, I have been hard on her at times, and it's not her fault that the local media goes into such a frenzy over the mere mention of her in the news.
This time though I think the AP was harsh.
:-)
Think of it this way, perhaps they didn't know what paramour meant.
Then again, there was the speculation that they were only doing this to hype up their movies...which, since the media did it that way, meant I had absolutely no interest in seeing either of them, but I'm contrarian when it comes to advertising.
Sad as it is to say, you may very well be right that the AP reporter didn't bother to check a dictionary.
So at least now, somewhere out there in the blogosphere one tiny little voice is saying It's not nice to call Toledo's own Katie Holmes a paramour...
(lol)

The only thing I know about this story is that it is annoying. If it shows up on a news ticker, it should be somewhat important. This story and things like President Bush supports war in Iraq don't make the cut in my world
The really big news me4 is you have to write Brrreeeport on your blog.
Don't ask why....just do it...
lol
:-)
Now THAT should be on news tickers...
Aw, come on! The relationship of TomKat is the very foundation upon which our world is built!
Yes, folks, if we didn't get our daily dose of TomKat, why, why, why... something bad would happen, that's for sure.
Although I am afraid that is some kind of tag that let's the government know I am a subversive, I will put it on there somewhere.
I'd never suggest you get involved in something with me that would get us on any lists like that.
:-)
LOL
Your's is hardly a tiny little voice, Lisa! You get quite a bit of local attention, not to mention national attention. It might not change much, but it's still quite impressive!
:-)
"pregnant paramour"
Love the alliteration.
But yeh, not technically adutery, right? Close but no cigar (would need Bill Clinton in the act for that, I guess... )
