Good intentions....

I had very good intentions of writing here yesterday and earlier today too. However funny things happen when I start searching around the internet. I was writing my column for Toledo Free Press earlier and one thing led to another and I started having quite an adventure checking out one site in particular. I'd say which site it was but then that would be a spoiler. So I'm going to withhold that, except to say it created a whole family moment where all of us have spent the past few hours enjoying what this site led to us discovering. Those of you who are curious will have to wait until Wednesday to find out.

Today is Emily's 21st birthday, (Happy Birthday Emily!) most days I don't feel old enough to have two children now that are over 21. Then there are days where I do feel that old - lol.

This week will be Liberal Common Sense's one year anniversary as existing as a blog. It's amazing how many opportunties this blog has created for me as well as how far the actual blog has come since I started it. Almost 30,000 pages have been viewed, close to 22,000 individual visitors and to my surprise I'm (at least at the moment) in the top 1000 blogs of the TLLB Ecosystem. I hadn't checked in a while so to see LCS listed at 908 was a "wow" moment.

More than just the visit stats has been some of the awesome people I've "met" thru this past year who have found this blog and have made it something I enjoy doing. A special thanks to MFWSHAB who has been with me from the very beginning thru the serious, and the not so serious moments we've had here as well as being at the receiving end of my novel proportion emails....

Thanks to all of you with a large round of virtual {{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}

That's not bad Mike considering how long you've been in TLLB.

Congrats!

Its been nice to have a liberal blog to read that isn't to the far left. We've had some great discussions, and I look forward to many more!

Thanks Josh, I've missed you round this part of the blogosphere.

:-)

I noticed after I wrote about Pastor David's blog in my column that is why the Church name sounded familiar because of you and Jen. I hope the both of you are doing very well.

Too funny, Lisa. I'm so bummed that the ODP screening committee recommends Dann. He's not bad, not at all. But I just think...well, you read what I think. :)

Jill, I'm sorry what I had heard was true. Personally I don't think they should endorse. I read the by-laws and it doesn't say the Executive Commitee has to it says they "may". Maybe we will luck out and they will do the right thing and not endorse. I think an endorsement in a primary defeats the whole reason. We are supposed to choose who we want.

Congratulations, Lisa!!! Somehow I would have guessed that you've been doing this for longer...you're just too good to have only been doing it for a year!
