A moment for Subcomandante Bob

Sometimes I attempt humor and actually make some of you laugh, rather than laugh at me. My satire skills are much far below the person I am writing about here, Subcomandante Bob.

He has two sites, both are based on the Toledo area but think most of you would enjoy them if you'd like to wander over and visit. Not for the kiddies though because he does use adult language (Yes, Aubrey this means you!)

His first site is Codependent Collegian,

His second site is Toledo Tales,

Bob is also to be honored for his taste in who he links, yes, that would be me.

:-)

So when I've depressed some of you too much with the dark side of the world news? Remember Bob.

I'd also like to mention Daniel has returned from leave for those of you who have become fans of his blog "All the King's Horses".

Zoiks!

Your words are very flattering, Lisa.

Did you want your pay-to-play fee in cash, check, or a couple of rounds at Inverness?

I thought we agreed on Putt-Putt

Although I find this tempting, very tempting, I am NOT going to go there.

(I can't believe I just took a pass...)

Hooda talking to himself again:

Dude, you are having a Geezer moment, get used to it.

They increase in both frequency and duration (unlike other things) with age...

lol it's amazing you can resist this kind of temptation.

Well, Daniel has started the long journey back to Iraq. His "leave" is over though, and I miss him dearly. I have not heard from him yet, so chances are he will be arriving in Kuwait tonight or tomorrow. He does not know what kind of internet access he will have in Kuwait.

Thanks Holly and as I wrote to Daniel, I wish the utmost happiness for the two of you.

Looking foward to the day he's blogging stateside about married life and the joys of mowing the lawn.

Lisa,
"and the joys of mowing the lawn."

You HAVE to be kidding...

Yes, I'm teasing, except for I know from others who have come back from Iraq and Kuwait that the grass looks pretty good at least the first few times of mowing
