A few months back, I was supposed to review an electronic cigarette, but apparently one of my neighbors either received my package by mistake and decided to keep it for themselves or some other postal mishap happened since I never received the package. Hence I've still wondered if that or any of the electronic cigarette usa brands out there actually do work and how. I've heard anecdotal stories from friends of friends, but not anyone directly yet as to the electric smoke experience compared to the traditional cigarette.
So, if you've actually tried it? Let me know. Yes, I know smoking is not considered healthy, so lectures on my vice are not necessary.

What killed the video card?
My husband is into online games that require a video card that is above the one that's on my computer (which is the most expensive computer in the house) and was above my daughter's computer that he is using by proxy after his died. Some computers, like mine, have built in video cards, those who don't? Are much easier to replace, which is what he did, he purchased an upgraded video card for the computer he's using after several days of withdrawal from Combat Arms...

Xbox versus Sega
My youngest daughter's boyfriend has been staying with us since before Christmas since his living situation with his mother was not one that was working out. One of the things he brought with him was his xbox 360. It's pretty interesting how advanced gaming has gotten but the other day when he and my daughter were bored they discovered our old Sega game system in the garage. They've been playing Sonic for a few days now, it's funny to watch them entertained a game that to them is simple but at the time? Seemed pretty amazing as far as game technology...

Apparently she did not inherit my luck...
I am not a lucky person when it comes to contests and drawings, my biggest "win" goes all the way back to when I was five years old and I won a coloring contest in the local newspaper where the prize was a Koolaid tent...My middle child appears to not have inherited my lack of a winning streak. Recently she won a 52 inch television set from a drawing held at her job, which not only created discussion which plasma mounts she should use for the brick wall they wanted to place it on, but some moments of envy. Though I did suggest to her that a 52 inch television set would be a heck of a gift...She didn't buy that.

Time to go into Mom Stealth Mode...
One of the challenges of this house is determining which pet is doing what it's not supposed to be doing in the house. If you only have one pet that would be easy, but when you live in a multi-pet household like we do, at times I have seriously considered video surveillance equipment. Recent true story example, I baked a cake, I frosted it, we enjoyed several pieces of it. It was left out on the stove, the next morning I discovered part of the frosting was clearly licked off. Yes, someone should have covered the cake, but cats don't typically do that, the only time we had a previous problem was with pumpkin pies, when just before guests arrived I discovered each pie had some of the middle missing with a paw print in each one...What did I do? Sliced the pie, throwing out each cat tasted part...
