Something more in the milk besides chocolate?

I read the above linked Toledo Blade article first which states in part:

The customer told Perrysburg police that she unsealed the container and found the foreign substance when she poured some milk into a glass. She did not become sick and the customer contacted poison control and was told the pharmaceutical involved would not cause harmful effects if ingested.

Then I started checking local news sources for more information, WTOL had this:

A spokesperson for Kroger says the foreign substance was a prescription pill bottle. It was unclear whether the bottle had any pills in it or not. It was also unclear whether there was a name on the pill bottle or not.

It seems strange that a prescription pill bottle would fit into a half gallon of milk, and that it would pour out into a glass. It also suggests from the Blade article that there were pills of some sort in the bottle else poison control wouldn't have told her it wasn't going to cause harmful effects.

More...as this chocolate milk series continues...another reason to drink white milk and if necessary add flavoring (especially for those of us who can't drink chocolate anyway who prefer strawberry or the new most awesome dulce de leche flavor syrup).

UPDATE: It was a hoax...According to WTOL:

PERRYSBURG -- Perrysburg Police have now arrested a woman who reported a case of tainted milk from a local store. Police Chief Richard Gilts says says Stephanie Wood, 25, of Perrysburg, has been charged with "making false alarms," which is a felony.

Gilts says Wood bought a half-gallon of chocolate milk at the Kroger store in Perrysburg, and called police saying she found an albuterol container in the milk when she poured it in a glass. Officers arrested Wood after searching her apartment in a building on Mandell Road in Perrysburg. They say the investigation determined that Wood made up the story. Even so, police say they had to treat the scenario as true.

It is once again safe to resume chocolate milk drinking.....

Alas, still not for you from what I recall... Besides, I prefer adding my own chocolate.
