Reaching for the stars.....

or...brrrr it's cold in here....

The above link is one of my favorite places to go when I want to gaze at some very awesome pictures.

Like this one:

The Boomerang Nebula is one of the Universe's peculiar places. Astronomers revealed that it is the coldest place in the Universe found so far. With a temperature of -272C, it is only 1 degree warmer than absolute zero (the lowest limit for all temperatures). Even the -270C background glow from the Big Bang is warmer than this nebula. It is the only object found so far that has a temperature lower than the background radiation.

Astronomers haven't been at my house when my beloved Florida State Seminoles lose a football game! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :)

Josh, I believe in God, however I do think the pictures are very awesome.

:-)

lol Johnathan, I'm a dolphins fan even though I'm up here in Ohio so I can relate to that feeling...

My old man's from OH. The southeastern tip, across from Huntington, WV. Town called Chesapeake. I have lots of great memories of OH!

Johnathan, it's really pretty down that part of Ohio, I've had alot of fun down there too.

While of course I have to say my part of Northwestern Ohio is the best, my love of the fins goes back to when I was ten. They've been my team ever since. (No, I am not happy they took Ricky back)

:-)

I think taking RIcky back was a big mistake, but if I were a betting man, I think they're going to try to polish him up and dangle him as trade-bait. After all, since they drafted Auburn RB Ronnie Brown with their top draft pick, there's no way they're going to let Brown ride the pine.

By the way, I was up in your neck of the woods (kinda sorta) 15 years ago.

I'm showing my age here, but I graduated from high school in 1990, and my grandparents and I went fishing on Lake Erie for a couple of weeks. We did reasonable well on the walleye, but the zebra mussles were taking their toll on the fishing there. We caught a bunch of white bass and smallmouth, too. My grandfather and I both caught a northern pike that we got mounted.

Now that he and my grandmother are gone, I'm reminded of them and that trip by looking at the mount. Fond memories, they are!

Jonathan, I graduated in 1978...now I just showed my age - lol

I used to fish alot more when my dad was alive. Lake Perch was a and is still my favorite fish.

I also just realized I have been spelling your name wrong, so I'm sorry for that.

As to Ricky? I hope you are right because taking him back to me was a big mistake. I'm willing to sit back and give the new coach the benefit of the doubt. I miss Don...he will always be my favorite coach.

No problem with the misspelling of my name. Heck, most people misspell AND mispronounce my last name.

It was time for Shula to move on, but clearly, his replacements (JJ and Wannestedt) have been mediocre. Saban did an awesome job at LSU, but a number of college coaches have tried their hands in the NFL. Most haven't done too well (Jimmy Johnson in Dallas is one of the only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head). If any college coach can break the hex, it's probably Nick Saban.

Ricky Williams...what a head case! "Smoke lots of dope, or make millions playing a game? Hmmmmmmmmm..."

I could tell you stories about my name being mispelled and mispronounced during my second marriage - lol.

No one was surprised I wanted my maiden name back. When my oldest daughter was salutatorian we had bets as to if the principal would finally say her name right or muff it up as usual. Amazingly it was the first time ever done right.

:-)

I'm hopeful about Saban as well, I think he will make the transition from college to pro well. Mean thing that I will confess, every year I am relieved when we hold on to the perfect season record.

Some of them are awesome Kat, if I ever get off my behind and make my own stylesheet for the blog there are some awesome images that would be cool to use.
