Carty Finkbeiner gets blasted again by the Toledo Blade (I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact they support Mayor Jack Ford) and the three other main mayoral candidates in today's Toledo Blade.
His crime? He forgot to include credit for one quote in a speech made on Thursday to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
I mean wow, how could he? That is so bad, and even worse? He took responsibilty for not giving them credit and apologized.
I fear what is next, that he doesn't brush after every meal? Or maybe something even darker, like he threw out a glass jar in his trash and didn't recycle it.
How much more of this can we take?

I agree that the Blade is making far too big of a deal out of this. This was a speech, and, although citation is still required, this happens all the time.
Plus, Carty did a prompt mea culpa.
Not in the same league as plagiarism of a written form.
That's the Blade for you! I think that Carty has a chance, and The Blade is scared. After all, it's not in their master plan for the city.
I will never forget the Blade, because they have created the unthinkable for me, I have become a....
Carty defender....I still don't think I'd vote for him even if I did live in Toledo but I had forgotten how interesting things are when Carty's around...
