Edward Kennedy says something nice about Bill Frist

Yes, really, I am not making this up. I would hope CNN wouldn't either, but in this world of Republican and Democratic squabbles, here is probably one of the few nice things Kennedy has ever said about Frist:

Said Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Massachusetts: "As a physician, Sen. Frist has a moral calling to save lives and alleviate suffering. He honors his Hippocratic Oath today by recognizing the unique healing power of embryonic stem cells."

And Harry was happy too:

"It is a decision that will bring hope to millions of Americans," said Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada. "I know there's still a long ways to go with the legislation, but a large step has been taken by the majority leader today ... and I admire the majority leader for doing it."

There, a nice warm fuzzy moment in politics brought to you by? CNN

:-)

I will say something nice about him too then. Bill Frist is not as big of dumbass as I thought he was.

More or less of a "dumbass" than that fat drunken womanizing murderer Kennedy?

Gee a major Democratic player saying nice things about a Republican after that Republican agrees a Democratic side of an issue. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Why is it that I really don't feel the true warm and fuzzy feeling that love and friendship bring? Oh, that's right. Were talking about the biggest high school of all, U. S. Congress.
