Kinds of things I do when I'm not here...

This is a local story, but for those of you who read here and don't read my local blog, Fox Toledo has asked me to come on from time to time, probably twice a month, to do a segment that they call "Rant & Rave" - this was my first time. It's clear I have a bit to go to develop good teleprompter reading skills. This story on Connecting Point has been one I've been trying to push as far as getting someone, our local government especially to do an investigation into claims of possible financial mismanagement and try to bring more attention to the plight of the employees who got a pretty raw deal.

Woot! Local girl gets on TV! :)

Seriously though, you did great. Be sure to post here when you're going to be on so those of us who are memory impaired will be sure to tune in.

No pressure. ;)

Yes, this all part of my master plan to get Ben and Jerry's to bring back their PB&J ice cream from their graveyard. The more power you get Lisa, the more my dream will come true. Remember your promise. :)

But, MY GOD WOMAN!!!!! You were on a Fox station. Does this mean you will be coming to the right side of the political fence? It's ok. You be part of the rich and powerful and you will be treated like a queen and be able to squash the lowly and poor. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

Anyway, you did good for your first shot there. I was started to count the extra pauses, but at least you didn't freeze up or fall off the chair you were sitting on. In time, you will be doing this so perfect that the station will ask you to be on staff and be part of the happy news items to laugh about right after you have reported on a car crash that killed 97 senior citizens on their way to church.

With the minor flaws here and there, you still did good. Just remember the little people on your way to the top. Because, if you forget us and you fall, we will get our vengence!!!!! ;)

Keep it going. Good things will happen soon.

Thanks everyone and C? Hate to break it to you but it's a local Fox affiliate it is not the same as Fox News, most of the people there are...Democrats...

I was glad you didn't tell me I looked like Yoda this time. Though I thought about wearing the shawl just for you.

On a serious note, this Connecting Point story has been very frustrating for me and pretty time consuming since I've started doing digging where I can. I keep hoping that what I discover will end up creating some type of an investigation or action.
