Sigh...not a banner football year for me so far...

Thankfully while I have been happy about previous years performances in the football pool that I play in, I have not gloated (well not gloated much) when I've done better than my husband. This year, he is near first place and I'm in the situation he's normally in, near last place.

Like my team, the Dolphins, all I can do is remember despite my current performance, I once did have a perfect season...

Looks like your team is on the road for a perfect season in the other direction. At least you will have two seasons where you couldn't get beat and the other where you couldn't buy a win.

I know that the Jets have only one win so far and that was against....Hmmmmm....let me think....Oh yes, the Dolphins.

Have you heard that if the Dolphins/Giants game goes well in England that the NFL may make plans for each team to play one game aboard each season? To do that, the NFL may increase the season by one game. A 17 game season. So if another team wants to have a perfect season, they will have to win 20 games at that point. Don't tell me that Shula isn't behind that decision. ;)

Shula is definitely behind that decision. As for the comment towards my wife's team, although true it was a bit harsh cyber. Now I actually thought my team was going to have a great year this year (49ers) but they have only fought for two wins thus far. Hopefully they will win against the Saints today.

Roman, Looks like that didn't pan out for your guys. San Fran was a great football team of the eighties and nineties. Now they have been humbled for almost a decade.

Though my comments may have been cruel, it is always in good fun. What do you expect from a Jets/Dolphin confrontation? Tea and scones? I think not. But there is a respect form both teams fans and though I jest and chucnled and laugh and pee myself, I go feel sorry for the Dolphin fans. I don't see the DOlphins becoming a condenter for at least five more years.

Now Patriots fans, they suck and have no respect for anyone. Now those MA fans are really going to be a$$h*les should the Pats win another Super Bowl. In that light, Lisa and I are united in our hate for the Pats. Bad enough when you see a team win over and over again, not being your team, but to have them in the same division is sickening.
