Price of machetes drops after elections?

Yes, that is really a headline from Reuters, Price of machetes drops after elections. It makes you really stop and appreciate our country and also really have to reflect on those who actually made a larger profit from the sale of machetes knowing what they were going to be used for. This quote would have been amusing had it not been clear what the machetes were going to be used for:

"Before the conduct of the general elections, I was selling a minimum of seven machetes daily but can hardly sell one a day now," said Usman Masi, a trader quoted by NAN.

Gee, Usman, maybe there will be some type of uprising that will help out your sales numbers...
