Photo Hunt - Shiny
Better late than never...This was a hard one for me since we just returned from the dedication ceremony for something that's a really big deal for my City. The new Veteran's Glass City Skyway bridge will officially open for traffic tomorrow but today my husband and I along with many other Toledo area residents got to see a close up look at the bridge. It's not open to pedestrians so today's probably the only day people will be able to walk across it. I picked two that I felt really met the definition of shiny...The first was on an awesome flag painted truck and the second just one of the posts that make up the actual bridge.

Two great pictures perfect for the theme. Did you get a lot of other shots since foot traffic won't be allowed again?
Yes, over 200 photos were taken in all. I used some of them for a video slideshow that I uploaded to You Tube.
We tried to make the most of it since this would be the only time you could actually walk on the bridge.
The truck's paint does look shiny, I wonder if the post of the bridge will remain chrome looking like that for long?
