Coulter helps Edwards raise funds...

Perhaps Ann Coulter will really have to rethink her attack mode given the recent headlines, Coulter's remarks aid Edwards' fundraising.

It's not the first time Coulter has given the Edwards campaign a financial boost. In March, she called Edwards a "faggot" and the campaign used video of the comment to help raise $300,000 before the end of the first quarter.

Here we are at the end of another quarter and there's Ann...maybe she's secretly a liberal at heart and this has all been a ploy to turn people against conservatives by her boorish and silly behavior...

Yes...I may have just figured out her plot.

Or maybe she's trying to gain name-recognition by inciting as many liberals to hate her as possible.

Coulter wouldn't even be on my radar, but for the tendency for liberals to defame her and conservatives to laugh at her.

Yet, because liberals read her work and listen to her all the better to hate her with, and conservatives read her work and listen to her all the better to laugh at her (and the liberals who hate her), she certainly sells a lot of books -- which I suspect is her end-goal.

Ann Coulter is boorish. And stupid. And annoying. She really needs to just shut up and go away. I saw her on GMA and almost choked on my coffee when she made that remark about Edwards. She needs to get a grip.

"She really needs to just shut up and go away."

TLC, I don't think that's going to happen while spouting her mouth off continues to be profitable. Though, you've got to admire Mrs. Edwards' courage and conviction under fire.

True Stephanie and I'm sorry tlc, if myself and many others would just stop posting about her or people responding to her?

She would go away...

I posted about her too. I don't think people like us ignoring her will do anything, it will just make her supporters believe that she has shut us up with her wisdom.

Thanks, me4, that's a very valid point.

Yeah, I don't think posting about her is going to make a difference. However, if you're buying her books for the priviledge of de-bunking her, or tuning into programs that she's on for the same reason, then I suspect the sales/ratings are just the "encouragement" she's looking for.

I was not criticizing anyone for posting about her.

I was semi in jest about it being our fault or my fault for posting about her.

Nah, posting about her isn't the problem. Letting her spout off on morning television about how she wishes Edwards had....well, I can't even bring myself to repeat it, it was so mean-spirited. That's what will keep her visible.

A moratorium on Ann Coulter...that's what this nation needs. :) [totally unreasonable and not feasible, considering the whole free speech thing...but you get the point].
