Because I do not have a green thumb...

I could try and blame it on the cats, and they are partially responsible for my bad luck when ever I try to grow something in the house. Take my last attempt to create seedlings for a vegetable garden as an example, everything was going wonderfully and seeds were sprouting until one of the cats decided to sit on the mini greenhouse and smash it as well as killing most of the seedlings. Hence, for that look of greenery in my house? I go for silk trees, I can't kill them by forgetting to water them and the cats don't eat them...
