One of the many advantages of having five children is that you experience all of the facets of their education, including college financing which has created a situation where I know a bit about school loan consolidation. When friends who are facing their first child attending college or have decided to return to school themselves find themselves asking questions, I'm the first one they turn to and given what we've experienced? Most times I can either give them an answer or at least be able to suggest where they need to go to find the answers they seek...
