Cats killing my cookware...

It may sound hard to believe but my cats are really destroying my cookware. It's all due to a window being behind the stove and this being such a small kitchen that I like to leave the two main pans out that I use often on top of the stove. One of the cats or several of them, I haven't caught the exact feline felon yet, is jumping up on the stove and has knocked down one pot with enough force that it's bent so the lid won't fit and has broken the glass lid that I had to the other pot. So, not only is it time to shop for new items but I'll have to find a place to put them rather than on top of the stove to avoid repeating this adventure...
