Save your data...save your sanity...

A few months ago there was a fire that hit a group of office buildings and a few of the medical offices and small businesses that were involved went thru the horror of trying to re-establish all of their data, including patient information as well as other records. Even where some of the computers were not totally destroyed by smoke or water damage, it could have been a little less of a trauma had they known that Online data backup, secure and reliable. No, this isn't written to scare you but to give you something to think about, if you read this release you'll see some of the even larger companies who have dealt with problems that would have been prevented by backing up data.

Yes, this falls under the "Lisa Renee theory" that if you are prepared for something, and do have your information backed up online then? You'll probably never need to use it, but if you do need to use it? A service like Data Deposit Box, could turn out to be a way to preserve not only your data but keep your sanity intact if such a disaster should happen...I learned that once the hard way when pictures and memories and other documents were gone when my laptop was stolen, now I store my important information online.
