Photo Hunt - Empty...

Last night I was asked to be a part of a panel at the University of Toledo for the 8th Annual Freedom Forum for the College's Society of Professional Journalists. I've done a few presentations before but this is the first time I've ever been on a "panel of experts" and I was joined by a College Professor, the Managing Editor of our Daily Newspaper and one of our popular local News Anchorwomen. The empty chairs were when we first arrived and also the empty feeling in the pit of my stomach before things got started as I asked myself..."Am I ready for this?"

And it went well with all the seats filled up? I'm sure it did and that pit probably faded away.

Great take on the theme! No matter how many times I speak there's always a bit of that feeling before I begin.

There's nothing like the feeling of an empty room, especially when everybody decided to gather to the back of the room and not sit down.
