Photo Hunt - Architecture

I know this isn't traditional Architecture but it was what I first thought of, it's small Gypsy Wagons that people can camp out in at Ravenwood Castle which is not far from Hocking Hills, Ohio. We stayed in the Castle but I'll never forget how the wagons looked, some day we'd like to return to try those out. There's no television, no internet and at first I wondered if taking all four girls would be a nightmare but we all had a fantastic time as a family when we went.

Lovely. It looks so nostalgic. I'm sure it would have been a challenge to really live in something like that, but it seems to harken to a simpler time.

My husband and I both thought it would be a perfect romantic get away sans children the next time around but they had an amazingly good time and considering my children's tech addictions (and my own) the weekend away from all electronics was not only enjoyable but created a moment where we all connected.

How cute! Size-wise, it reminds me of the tent cabins in Yosemite. I think it's fascinating architecture!

The little shack that could, on wheels that is.
:)
I remember the moment when you saw them, you wanted to leave the kids in castle room and you and I could experience the wagon.
Great choice sweetheart.

That is adorable. I don't think a family of six could fit though.. perhaps just a couple. Love the colors.

It looks like something out of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"!

I think that's a wonderful photo of architecture -- not all architecture has to be grand or old -- some down home things are just as beautiful. Thanks for stopping by too.

That's such a cozy looking cottage. How nice to set aside technology for a while and be close to nature. Glad you had a great time.

I love these colors! Is this a playhouse? The wheels are a nice touch. Great addition to the hunt!

I MUST stay there! Those tiny wagons remind me of childhood fantasies of living in a beautiful tiny house. I'm going to put this on my todo list!
