Drugs like Ambien can be dangerous...

I was on the prescription drug Ambien for awhile becuause I was having difficulty sleeping. Thankfully I didn't have any of the side effects as is being reported thru this CNN article such as sleep driving but I found the drug to be very troubling. What it did to me was put me into such a deep sleep that I did not wake up no matter what was happening around me. One night my youngest daughter woke up ill in the middle of the night and I could not be awoken. Thankfully my husband was there, but for me that was the last time I took Ambien. I was afraid if something happened like a fire or some other emergency that I would not be able to be woken up to respond.
