Winter comes to Ohio...

Blizzard like conditions here, well to those of us that haven't been thru the Blizzard of 1978, for us this is a tiny little snow squall. However, for others, general OMG it's a Blizzard like conditions have hit the area.

Even the Washington Post covers the news...

Up to 18 inches of snow was forecast for northern Pennsylvania, with a chance of 2 feet at higher elevations. Twenty-inch accumulations were possible in parts of New York state, where communities on the eastern end of Lake Ontario have endured a week of lake-effect snow that totaled more than 11 feet.

Personally, I'm happy with even 12 inches as compared to the 12 feet some parts of New York State received recently.

I remember the '78 blizzard very well. That was the real thing! This 2007 snow fall and accompanying winds are nothing in comparison.
