What's the difference between a Grandmother clock and a Grandfather clock?

I'm not trying to be silly, I really wondered when looking at some of the grandfather clocks out there what was the difference? I did discover the answer, that if a clock was under 6 feet tall, it made it a grandmother clock and not a grandfather clock. The actual style of the clock can be the same, it's the height that determines which it is. So, if you ever start to wonder that question yourself? Now...you have the answer too.
