Hookahs in the House...

I admit in my younger days the idea of a Hookah did not conjure up smoking a legal substance yet a few of my bunch who are old enough to smoke have gotten caught up in the Hookah craze, and they've gone from a less expensive starter type Hookah to a more custom one that they take with them when they head out to parties or have a few friends over to puff away. So, that is why I've learned a bit more about the topic of hookah tobacco. It is very different from traditional tobacco, not even close to anything like pipe tobacco. A few months ago had you asked me who Al Fakher Shisha was, I would have thought it was some middle eastern person, yet it is one of the more favorite hookah tobacco's at least in this house. They have tried just about every flavor there is, some they were not so crazy about like the cola flavored one, but they do seem to be very fond of the fruity ones. Then of course there are different beverages they have experimented with instead of water and the never ending discussion of do they want to use Charcoal or wood. While I've been invited repeatedly to try, I have not yet re-entered those Hookah days but at least I have become pretty knowledgeable as to the basics...
