Friday's Feast Number 130

Appetizer

Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with?

Right now I am fighting this flu type virus that the girls had. I thought I had escaped it's virusey clutches but it's obvious my immune system was not up to the task of fighting it off.

Soup

What colors dominate your closet?

Denimn blue and gray, once you get past seeing my most favorite pair of red boots...

Salad

How would you describe your personal "comfort zone"?

Organized Chaos? Creative Clutter? Not as dysfunctional as it looks? I'm really funny about my kitchen and my bathroom being clean but when it comes to my comfort zone area where I spend the most time which is my bedroom/office my only main things are then to make sure my computer screen is clean and that I empty my waste basket next to my computer when it starts to overflow...

Main Course

On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?

Though I don't think healthwise I could pull it off, I'd love to be on Survivor, just to see if I could actually "outwit, outplay, outlast" as well as I think I can sitting here being a "Monday Morning Quarterback" on how others play the game. Amazing Race would be another one that would be fun to do, especially if it was my best friend Holly and I. Imagine Thelma and Louise without the suicide...even if we lost we'd have a blast.

Dessert

Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?

When my father was alive it was Thanksgiving, even if we didn't have it on the "traditional" day because of the way he traveled (he was a pilot) it was one we always looked forward too. We had some strange traditions that I've tried to keep alive but are not the same without him here. Like making the turkey dance across the counter after it was thoroughly cleaned out and making the turkey "talk" as he was being stuffed. Having the turkey turn out wonderfully moist and us all joking about what horrible cooks my father and I were and how dry it was and I'd have to tell him to stop eating little tidbits from the turkey to "test it" and to just carve it.

If you've never done the Friday Feast head on over and join in. This is my second one and it is a great way to meet some awesome bloggers.

:-)

Sorry to hear that you're sick. I have spent the last month fighting one of those viruses. I hope yours goes away quickly!

You are brave to want to try Survivor. I don't think I could do it.

Happy Friday!

Hope you get to feeling better! Some of the friends racing on AR seem to do better than the couples, who bicker a lot. :)

Thanks for visiting!

Another Thanksgiving lover! You're the first person I've found who listed that . . . other than me.

Yup the amazing race for me, I went online and was already to apply but you have to pretty much drop everything for 3 months. I don't know anyone besides me that can do that!! :-)

Great Feast!
I used to have a great pair of deep red boots... I miss them (wore em out)... I think it was a subliminal message from the movie "Footloose" that made me HAVE TO HAVE THEM!!!
