First Communion...

Earlier today I was talking with a friend and somehow we got on the topic of First Communions, and the special rosary that is always one of the first communion gifts that is received. That of course made me wonder if that was still a tradition and after doing some web searching, while teddy bears and other items are now out there either a cross and/or a rosary still is a traditional gift. I know it seems strange with as non-traditional as I am in most areas, the history and tradition of the Catholic Church is for me an important aspect of my religion. In a way it was reassuring to discover that not everything has gone technology based...

And some of those gifts make get butt plugs. Just ask a priest.

Next table for one in Hell; yeah that'll be mine. :)

If it is a table with a view, can I sit there with you?

I got a crucifix for mine. I already had about a dozen rosaries from various people and it made more sense.

Q. How many children even know how to pray these days.

If immersed in the "Public School" culture, they could be expected to receive more secular gifts such as condoms...
