Resolution...smesolution...

I'm sorry if I am not going to jump up and down for joy over the news that non-binding resolution against additional troopsin Iraq and against the war in Iraq passed. It doesn't mean anything except as a pr moment for future presendential candidates to claim some type of bravado for voting their position.

Rather than offer solutions or plans or ideas or anything concrete that would actually solve anything, they waste hours getting a non-binding resolution that the President could ignore. Sigh...it's going to be a long year...

It was also interesting to see that Dana Milbank from the Washington Post covered last night's State of the Union to a similar fashion as what I did, measuring the moments of applause and Standing O's by Nancy Pelosi versus the moments where she did neither... Chris Muir who does the Day by Day Cartoon also has a good one:
