I can't say this isn't barbaric...

If you read this CNN article you are given the impression that this is horrible, and I'm not going to say it isn't. What bothers me is young girls are mutilated so that they will not be able to have an orgasm, men in history have slaughtered children, picking them up by their legs and slamming them into walls...In our not so distant past as a nation, we killed Native American children, Native Americans killed white children, Slave owners killed and maimed black children not out of some religious belief but out of pure vengence or hatred or punishment. We act so high and mighty yet the reality is who are we to condemn...Right at this very moment in time children are dying in Darfur and other places, and we really don't do anything as a nation to save them, but we can sit in judgement of these people...
